Disc golf, also known as frisbee golf or even 'frolf,' has become extremely popular in the last few decades. These courses are typically located in a park of some sort and are a fun activity for friends to participate in with much less strict rules than actual golf.

However, one extremely unique disc golf course in Colorado is not located in a park at all, but rather in the heart of the wilderness as well as a real ghost town.

The course is located just outside of Central City, Colorado, a small town with a lot of history known for its gambling, abandoned buildings, and eight cemeteries.

The disc golf course begins in the Colorado wilderness where instead of obstacles like drawbridges or windmills, there are aspen trees along a hiking trail.

Players will eventually find themselves in a real-life ghost town near the end of the course which, unlike your typical mini-golf courses, might not be the safest place to explore in depth.
