It takes a lot of room and a great design to make a great corn maze. Western Colorado is home to many corn mazes, and if your kids are anything like mine, they are bored of staying home on the weekends. With just a short drive, you can keep your kids entertained with a variety of activities available at several places throughout this wonderful area we call home.

In Grand Junction, you can visit Studt's Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze, located at 21 1/2 Road. In addition to the corn mazes, they have a pumpkin patch, an obstacle course, and a story trail, which features stories you can choose to read to your kids as you walk along the path.

The Moon Farm, at 1360 18 1/2 Road in Fruita, is also another great place to enjoy with your family in the Grand Junction area. It has a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, and hay rides.

At Punk's Pumpkin Patch, 800 1400 Lane in Delta, they have a variety of specialty pumpkins and gourds, pony rides, and a dedicated area for toddlers.

In Olathe, off Highway 50 between mile markers 85 and 86, you'll find DeVries Produce. They have a corn maze, and pumpkin patch and they offer night mazes on Friday and Saturday nights through Halloween. You can even enter the design contest for next year's corn maze.  Keep in mind, the maze has to be done by a tractor!

Get out and enjoy fall in Western Colorado. You'll make some great memories that will last a lifetime.
