From Tim Allen to Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Colorado is no stranger to those who've made it big in Hollywood. We're even the home of some who haven't made it big. While we aren't quite talking about those people right now, there are still plenty of talented, celebrated individuals who you may not know hail from our neck of the woods.
Just about every state you visit in this country can lay claim to at least one nationally famous resident. Drew Carey in Ohio, the band Kansas (from Idaho, obviously), or the 10,000 Maniacs in Jamestown, New York. Then, there are the actors, athletes, and generally interesting people floating around out there that make you scratch your head and say, "Wait, you're from where I'm from!?" This list is full of those people.
From Denver to Cortez, Colorado can lay claim to some incredibly intriguing people. So, we decided to see if we could find any celebrities, from any line of athletics or entertainment, that people may not know, or may have forgotten were from Centennial State.
